Carievale is a village in southeastern Saskatchewan, in the Rural Municipality of Argyle No. 1, where Highway 8 and Highway 18 meet.
The community's story goes back to the early 1890s. Its post office opened on February 1, 1891, giving the settlement an official place on the map. A little over a decade later, on March 14, 1903, Carievale was incorporated as a village, and it has kept that status ever since.
